Research Scientist:
Type of Position: Full-time
Starting Date: Immediately
JP Research, Inc. currently has an opening for a Research Scientist with strong analytical skills specializing in statistical analysis for automotive safety research and product liability. We are looking for a motivated individual with a Doctorate degree in applied math, statistics, mechanical engineering, physics or a related field. A minimum of three years of SAS programming experience are required, including a working knowledge of SAS Macro language. Proficiency with SQL and Excel is required as well. Applicants with work experience in automotive accident data analysis (FARS, NASS, other databases) will be given a priority consideration.
Day to day duties will involve complex data queries, creating reports and summaries, building statistical models, assessing model quality and interpreting the results. SAS programming duties will also include but will not be limited to SAS macro code development and support of the existing SAS macro libraries.
A successful applicant must be able to work in a team environment as well as on self-directed projects. The role will include authoring technical papers and presenting at relevant societies and technical associations.

Statistical Analyst/SAS Programmer:

JP Research, Inc. currently has an opening for a Statistical Analyst/SAS Programmer. We are looking for a motivated individual with a Masters degree in applied math, statistics or other related field. A minimum of three years of SAS programming experience is required, including working knowledge of SAS Macro language. Knowledge of SQL and Excel is a plus.

Research Analyst:
Type of Position: Full-time

JP Research, Inc. currently has an opening for a Research Analyst. We are looking for a motivated individual with a Bachelors Degree to provide technical support in a high-pressure environment. Successful candidate will be expected to assist with professional production of reports, papers, courtroom exhibits, and presentations. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Daily tasks would include: summarization, comprehension and a detailed understanding of case materials and depositions, performing meticulous literature searches on case related issues and topics, project documentation, critical thinking/analysis of statistical programs and databases, communication with clients, scheduling, and calendar management.
Advanced skills and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a must. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a legal environment or for an expert witness consulting office is required.
